Research Grants
The China American Psychoanalytic Alliance is offering research grants in these areas:
1. Research on distance training and treatment in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and psychoanalysis
2. Research on psychoanalytic psychotherapy in China
3. Research on the application of psychoanalytic concepts to understanding Chinese society, child issues, or relationships.
CAPA has hundreds of Chinese students who are in psychodynamic psychotherapy or psychoanalysis and are available as participants or research partners for your research.
No application deadline. Grants of up to $5000 per research project for actual research expenses (ex. statistical analysis, instruments costs, institutional review board (IRB) or independent ethics committee (IEC) costs, labor costs, etc.). We expect progress reports and a manuscript submitted for publication.
CAPA’s Research Grant Program has funded over 20 research publications.
